Leasebusters is
pleased to present our customers with another value added service
and website section entitled Credit Applications.
Below you will find
the logos/icons of the eleven (11) major national leasing companies
operating in Canada. Should you know the company through which you
want to apply for credit, simply click on the appropriate
link and a PDF of that company’s credit application will appear – print the document, complete the required
areas, execute the document and send it to either the leasing
company or the original selling dealership. In
the event that you don’t know the name of the factory leasing
company; simply go to the dropdown menu and click on the make of the
vehicle that you are looking to take-over.
Every vehicle
Lease-Take-Over transaction requires the prospective new customer to
apply for and qualify for credit acceptance by the leasing company.
Credit investigation and credit approval are performed by the
leasing company; the leasing companies are also the registered
owners of the leased vehicles.
Most retail leases
in Canada are leased through the factory leasing companies; factory
leasing companies are owned and operated by their respective new car
manufacturers and operate consistently throughout the country. In
many cases, large factory leasing companies are contracted to
administer the leasing and financing needs of other car companies
(for example; GMAC is the financial arm of Subaru of Canada).

Please be
advised that Leasebusters does not supply credit applications
for independent (non-factory) leasing companies with the
exception of Financialinx / CrédiLinx.
-
Most of the
major national leasing companies require prospective
lease-take-over customers to submit their completed credit
applications to the original selling dealerships (where the
vehicle lease originated). The original selling dealership will
act as your agent in regards to the factory leasing company
(most of the time).
***NOTE: Please
contact your leasing company/financial institution for details
regarding their specific policies, procedures and fees associated
with the Lease-Take-Over process.
