Who is Searail?
SEARAIL
is a Canadian-owned company with over 20 years of experience
and expertise in handling cars, trucks and other vehicles.
Our service is fast, highly efficient and insured. We have
seven offices across Canada to serve you best.
Our partnership with Searail “the careful car movers” allows
you the option of buying or selling your car from coast to
coast. This increases your market from your neighbourhood to
the whole country. This can also be included as an added
incentive for the buyer to purchase your car if you include
the cost of door to door transportation. |
|
Pick up and Delivery Service
With our optional door to door valet service, you can leave
everything to us and enjoy complete peace of mind, while we
take care of the details. We will pick up your vehicle from
wherever you tell us, be it home, place of work, or any
other location. Then we ship it via Canadian National
Railway and deliver to your precise chosen location. |
|
CN Rail
SEARAIL works with CN. We use only professional loading
crews and the most modern technology. Enclosed rail cars,
with sophisticated tie-down systems to secure the ride,
protect your vehicle from vandalism, the elements and
accidental damage. CN's EDI monitoring and tracing systems
help ensure reliable, on time delivery. |

The Shipping process -
from start to finish
Here is how we take care of your
car from start to finish. |
|
|
The start of our engagement with you begins with a complete
survey of the vehicle. The survey is done so both parties
are aware of the condition of the vehicle at origin. Our
qualified surveyors generally take five minutes to complete
the process. |
 |
|
If we are providing door to door service, the vehicle is
then carefully driven onto a flatbed tow truck, for
transportation to our rail depot. |
|
The vehicles are then driven up specially designed ramps
into the CN railcars. The ramps and railcars are designed so
that no damages can occur during the loading process. |
 |
|
The vehicle is then fastened into the CN railcar so that the
vehicle freely rides on its own suspension. This process
ensures no damages may occur while your vehicle is in
transit. Most newly manufactured cars are distributed across
North America with these exact railcars. |
 |
|
At the destination depot, the vehicles are driven down the
ramps and placed in Searail's secured compound. Your car is
now ready for pickup or delivery to you. |
