Elle passe présentement au crédit pour une confirmation et dans quelques jours si tout va bien, la prochaine étape sera d’inspecter le véhicule ensemble. One of the two ended up being someone really interested and we set-up a date/time to meet. Within 3 days of the posting I had 2 additional emails with individuals interested in seeing my car. I met with a lady yesterday who wants to take over my lease. She is in the process of having her credit checked and if all goes well we will be having the car inspected. Wow, this was fast. My first communication last week resulted in the lease take over being done today. My buyer drove up from Barrie to North Bay, he had already applied for GMAC leasing from the pdf I had emailed to him. He got in contact with the local GM dealer, his application was approved and I did a simple sign off last week. I did meet him today for the first time, and this was his first Cadillac purchase, something he had been looking forward to for a long time. I had the SRX professionally cleaned for him, and it looked just as good when I drove it off the GM lot new in March 2007. We were fortunate to find an extremely low mileage (under 500 kms) 2008 Cadillac Escalade for sale on the internet thru a GM dealer, I made a deposit on it and we're driving out Friday to pick it up. We wanted a larger vehicle and they don't get much larger than that, plus it has almost all the options, Nav, 22 inch wheels, cooled seats, etc. I'll be more than happy to refer any of my clients over to you who want to get out of a lease. I am a lawyer by profession. Because of the purchase of a new car, I had to dispose of my 2007 Porsche C4S Cabriolet. In the past, I have owned high end cars and have found them to be difficult to sell or get out of my lease – it is very hard to get qualified buyers to take over such vehicles. I placed an ad through lease busters. Burt, was very courteous and professional. He took down all information and helped me post the ad. He also fielded all my calls which helped a great deal given my very busy schedule. Within three days I had 4 interested customers and by the end of the week, my car was gone. It turns out you were absolutely right - the cash incentive of $3750 plus my taking over the transfer fee and leaving the $350 security deposit to the new lease owners did the trick within 2 days! I feel it is save to remove the ad from leasebusters now as the credit application with Volkswagen was approved and the applicants are very keen on the car, so the remaining risk of an unsuccessful takeover is minimal.
